Congratulations to former Greater Kingston Minor Hockey Alum Scott Harrington, who helped his London Knights capture the Ontario Hockey League Championship and advance all the way to the Memorial Cup Championship, losing 2-1 in overtime in the championship game against Shawinigan.
Harrington had a terrific season for the Knights, finishing second in OHL defenseman of the year voting, helping lead Team Canada to a Silver Medal at the World Junior Hockey Championship and obviously leading the Knights to the OHL Championships and Memorial Cup.
The Pittsburgh Penguins prospect will be given a long look this season by the Penguins and the entire Greater Kingston Hockey Organization would like to congratulate Scott on a terrific season.
