The Peewee Frontenacs
finished off their regular season in strong fashion this past weekend as they
took three of four points to finish third in the East of the ETA Standings.
Saturday had the boys on the road in Lindsay facing the Central Ontario Wolves
where the short staffed Fronts battled to a 4-1 victory.
Brady Spry handled the goaltending duties while Ben Campeau, Jacob Froats, Jacob McLellan and Ian McDonnell found the twine. Helping out with assists were Blake Aylesworth, Paton Clarke, Kevin Fitzgerald and Ben Albright. After the midnight return home the night before, the circle K’s took on the Clarington Toros at the Cat Sunday afternoon. The nothing game (standings wise) for either squad ended up in a 2-2 tie with Lane Morency and McLellan finding the net for the home team. Andrew Botting, Jackson Barnes, Aylesworth and Albright picked up the helpers with Nolan Lalonde standing tall to secure the tie between the posts.
