04's Advance to ETA Championship
It came down to the last game winner advances, but the Peewee Frontenacs managed to battle their way to a round robin victory over the Peterborough Petes and Clarington Toros to represent the east in the finals of the ETA Championship versus the Markham Waxers. Game 1 had the locals starting at home with the Toros.

The game was a tight checking affair that had a two goal power play by the Toros be the difference with the visitors pulling out the 2-1 win. Ben Albright scored one late from Blake Aylesworth and Ian MacDonnell with Nolan Lalonde handling the goaltending duties. Game 2 also had the Fronts at home where a late game push by the visiting Petes tied the game at three and sent the game to overtime where Wyatt Ottenhof scored the 4-3 winner. Other Fronts goals came from Lane Morency, Ben Campeau and Grayson Ebrahim while the helpers went to Morency 2, Jacob Froats, Brady Spry, Andrew Botting, MacDonnell and Campeau. Spry held the fort between the pipes. Game 3 took the boys on the road to Peterborough where a back forth shootout had the fronts come out as the victors in the 7-4 win. Lalonde was back in net for the W with the markers going to Campeau 2, Kevin Fitzgerald, Ebrahim, Ottenhof, Aylesworth and Botting. Chipping in with the helpers were Morency 3, Boden White 2, MacDonnell 2, Campeau, Jacob McLellan, Albright, Payton Clarke and Lalonde. Leading into Game 4, the Fronts and Toros were tied and it was a winner take all to move on. The home town Toros got on the board first but the circle K’s quickly tied it up in the first on a goal from Ottenhof. The game remained tied until the five minute mark of the third when the Fronts pulled out front with one from Botting. The locals held to that lead until the 1:29 mark of the third when a goal/no goal was scored by the Toros (later proved no goal by the GoPro goal cam) tying it at two. The boys kept their composure and found the twine ten seconds later on a goal by Aylesworth to be followed by an empty netter by Botting to skate away with the 4-2 win. Assists went to Campeau 2, White, Ebrahim, Albright, Morency and Aylesworth with Spry picking up the win in the cage. The Peewees waste no time as they start up versus the Waxers at home this Tuesday 21st with other games following 22nd, 24th, 25th, 26, and 27th to determine the winner of the ETA Championship.
