Fronts Sweep ETA Finals
This past Friday night, the Peewee Frontenacs completed a busy three game week to end the season by beating the Markham Waxers 6-1 to sweep the ETA finals three games to zero.

Tuesday night at the Invista had the locals fall behind early but battled back to take the all-important game one 3-2. Lane Morency scored 2 with the other going to Ben Campeau. Assists went to Grayson Ebrahim, Payton Clarke, Kevin Fitzgerald and Campeau with the tending win going to Nolan Lalonde. With no time to waste the Fronts hit the road to Markham on Wednesday where bus legs played a role in falling behind 1-0 after the first. The boys seemed to wake up as the game went along on route to three unanswered in the third to take the game 4-2. Brady Spry took his turn in the cage while Andrew Botting lead the scoring with 2 while Blake Aylesworth and Morency picked up the others. Jackson Barnes, Ben Albright, Campeau, Clarke and Fitzgerald helped out with the assists. With absolutely no interest in making another bus trip to Markham, the home town Fronts rode a four goal second period to the ETA Championship by taking game three 6-1. Fitzgerald had 2 markers with others being spread between Wyatt Ottenhof, Ian MacDonnell, Campeau and Ebrahim. Morency had 4 assists, Barnes 2, Boden White, Clarke, Ottenhof, MacDonnell and Ebrahim. Lalonde picked up the final W of the year between the pipes. Members of the ETA Champs were goalies Nolan Lalonde & Brady Spry. Defenseman Kevin Fitzgerald, Payton Clarke, Nathan Woods, Ian MacDonnell, Jackson Barnes, Jacob Froats. Forwards Ben Campeau, Lane Morency, Wyatt Ottenhof, Blake Aylesworth, Ben Albright, Jacob McLellan, Boden White, Andrew Botting, Grayson Ebrahim. Also helping out this season when injuries struck were Clayton Rose, Jack Pascoal and Cole Carter……. The boys would also like to send out a special thanks to the team staff, the families and all of the generous sponsors that helped make our season successful.
