Bantam Frontenacs split a pair of home games this past weekend. Saturday, on GK
Sponsor Day, the locals did not disappoint the home town crowd as they scored
early and often as they were too much for the visiting Central Ontario Wolves
taking the contest 5-1.
Sunday had the league leading Quinte Red Devils in town for an afternoon game. The Fronts scored early but gave up a breakaway goal to tie it a 1 apiece. QRD pulled ahead with a power play marker late in the second, lead 3-1 at the intermission and added another in the third for the 4-1 win. The 2004’s welcome the Markham Waxers to town this Friday 6th at the Invista 8:30pm and hit the road Sunday to Lindsay for a rematch with the Wolves.
