Four Point Weekend
The Minor Bantam Frontenacs
battled to a much needed four point effort this past weekend. Still going with
a short roster, the Circle K’s hit the road to take on the Peterborough Petes
this past Friday.
The boys scored a couple early in the first, added an insurance marker in the third to take the contest 3-1 making the ride home just a little more bearable. Fortunately, the team got to sleep in Saturday as it was a late start hosting the North Central Predators at 5:30pm. Again, the locals scored early and often, taking a four goal first period lead and riding it out to a 7-2 victory. The Fronts are right back at it in Whitby Saturday and home to Barrie on Sunday 2pm Invista.
