Update on Bussing
At the November 2nd Board Meeting bussing was discussed. Here is the new Policy on bussing in 2021-2022

Effective November 2, 2021 Updated GK Bus Policy

All GK teams will be allowed the opportunity to book team buses for away regular season games for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.

All teams are required to have a 75% or greater approval vote in favor of each bus considered for travel.  If the 75% approval rate is not met, buses cannot be used.  Further, bus usage with the 75% approval rate will still require the Head Coach’s approval on behalf of the coaching staff.

The important risk that must be understood is that if league game(s) are lost as a result of a Covid related incident stemming from the use of buses, league game(s) will be forfeited and season points awarded to the other team.  Games will not be rescheduled by the ETA.

Bus bookings must be completed with our busing partner, Coach Canada.  In the event a Coach Canada bus is not available for a selected away game, teams are allowed to book with another carrier.  All costs related to bus bookings are the full responsibility of the individual Team.

At any time during the remainder of the season, the Board reserves the right to revisit this policy as a result of changes to Public Health policy.
