This partnership marks a new beginning for the Greater Kingston AAA Hockey Association and effective for the 2019-20 season, the pinnacle of minor hockey in the Greater Kingston region will re-brand as the Greater Kingston Junior Gaels. Over the last 6 month’s the executive of GKHA has been working with Queen’s University officials to reach this agreement and feel this is a wonderful opportunity for our members and the Greater Kingston Hockey region that forms our boundaries.
Our organization has a goal for the positive development of our players, both on and off the ice. This partnership with a prestigious Canadian University will greatly aid and benefit our players in achieving these goals, today and for the future. A small listing of the great benefits, GK Jr. Gaels players and families will receive are:
