Historic 1st Greater Kingston Jr Gaels League Goal

On the first night of the 2019-20 ETA season, our Minor Peewee Jr Gaels took the ice to do battle with the defending OMHA AAA red hat champions, Clarington Toros.  The 2008’s kept pace with the champs and at 9:17 of the first period, #98 Liam Grant potted the historic first Greater Kingston Jr Gaels goal to take the lead 1-0.  The goal was assisted by #6 Jonah McCormick.  The game stayed close and was back and forth all night but the visiting Toros ending up with a 4-2 victory.

Later that evening, our Minor Midgets took the ice against the Peterborough Petes.  The Minor Midgets took control of the game early and carried the pace and skated away with a convincing 6-1 victory to notch the historic 1st Greater Kingston Jr Gaels league win.  We wish good luck to all of our Jr Gaels teams for the upcoming season.

See you at the rink.
