Hello Prospective Hockey players and parents. My name is Shawn Hagerman and I will be the Head Coach of the
GK Gaels U10 hockey team for the
2021/22 season. I have been coaching minor hockey for over 12 consecutive years ranging from Rep B, AA and AAA from Novice to Bantam aged levels.
I am extremely excited for the opportunity to coach your child at the AAA level and I want to extend an invitation to come and try out for our team in the fall.
I am a non parent coach and I also intend to bring on to our staff another non parent assistant coach. Tryouts WILL be fair and evaluations independent. I want to be very clear that every player will be given honest and independent evaluation.
I firmly believe that at this age, skill development will be the primary focus throughout the season. I will also have additional skills coaches to assist our team with skating, puckhandling and goalie development.
