As a player Andrew started in the Gananoque Minor Hockey System, before advancing to the  Greater Kingston (GK)AAA program in Pee-Wee. From there he moved on to the Kingston  Voyagers. His hockey career next lead him to Queens University where he played for 3 years and  was given the privilege of being their captain for two of those seasons.  He then went on to play a  year professionally in Germany.

Andrew’s coaching career began with Queens University as their assistant coach and he held this  position for ten years. In 2022 he began helping and coaching with his son’s teams within KAMHA.  He has coached both the IP and MD programs and is currently the associate coach with the U9 MD’s, as well as helping with the U8 Wrangler’s team.

Team Vision for 2026/27

My vison for the U10 AAA program is rather simple, I want to foster an environment that is comfortable for both athletes and families, an environment that enables the development of players and the team as a unit. While there are many talented kids at this age, I envision a program that caters to those young athletes that love the sport and are committed to each other and their development in the sport.
