1 And 1 For The Weekend
At Home Friday Night vs. the Peterborough Petes
The weekend would start at home with a tough loss against the Petes. The Petes came to Invista to play hard Friday night against the GK Minor PeeWees. Jacob Brown played well in nets, but finding much luck scoring Friday night would prove tough, with Peterborough taking with game with an empty net goal in the end making it a 4-1 loss for the boys.
Sunday would prove redemption for the boys on the road in Markham against the Waxers. Right from the initial puck drop, the boys came out to play. Droves of Black and Yellow would be continuous for 3 periods of hockey! solid for checking, and a disciplined defensive game would prove too much for the Waxers. Tyson Wilcox would keep Markham to one loan goal, with some solid net minding. The game would end up as a 4-1 win for the JR Fronts yesterday.
Great game boys!
This weekend the team will be away from league play, as they will be in Vaughan Mills taking part in the 2nd Annual Vaughn King's Classic.
