Minor Midget, 2016-2017 (Greater Kingston AAA Hockey)

The GK Minor Midgets played in three preseason games in Belleville this past weekend and brought home three wins!!!  A great foundation to continue building on and a direct result of a strong collective effort by all. Exhibition action had the Kingston Jr. Frontenacs facing the Sudbury Wolves (3-1), Halton Hurricanes (2-0) and the Quinte Red Devils (4-2). Enjoy the last week of summer folks ... the regular season is fast approaching!

A little team rivalry to kick off the season! The GK Minor Midgets and GK Major Bantams took the fun onto the water this week challenging each other to a race in the War Canoes at the Gananoque Canoe Club.  The lads quickly learned that balancing on their blades wasn't quite the same as balancing on the water! The race didn't last long, one canoe tipped but lots of laughs followed. Thanks to all who came out to the final team bonding event before the season kicks off.  See you at the rink!!!

The Greater Kingston Minor Midgets took the fun off of the ice and used their creative and lateral thinking for a unique team building exercise at downtown Kingston's, Improbable Escapes.  The competitive edge runs deep with this group and it made for a fun night not only solving puzzles but also forging new relationships with teammates.
