Niagara North Front Row Sports Classic Tourney
The Minor Peewees competed in the Niagara North Front Row Sports Classic over the weekend. Despite losing their first game 3-1 to the host team Niagara North Stars, the boys bounced back to beat the Hamilton Huskies 3-2, and tied North Central 1-1 to set up a must win against the Sun County Panthers to advance to the semi finals on Sunday. They boys battled hard to a 2-2 tie with 2 minutes to go. With the goalie pulled, the boys had a few great chances but the Panthers finally scored on the empty net. The boys represented Kingston professionally on and off the ice. They had a nice dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and then went to see Niagara Falls. Great job boys!
This Saturday the boys will face North Central at home (Invista Fineline Pad) at 5:30. Please come out and support the team. The following day they will face Richmond Hill away.
