Stage 3B (Greater Kingston AAA Hockey)

PrintStage 3B
Dear GK Families,
Our plan for the upcoming months in hockey include:
Greater Kingston is going to create two teams per age division.  These two teams will have skills and practices together on the same ice pad, each using half ice.  They will also be allowed to scrimmage against one another.

At present, the hockey guidelines state there can be no more than 10 players on half ice allowing for 2m spacing on the hockey bench during scrimmages.  GK will run 4 on 4 hockey at the present time, during Stage 3B.  We are hopeful for 3 ice times per week per division which may include Napanee and/or Gananoque ice.  This is all dependent on availability.

The expected start date is between September 15th and 30th pending our program approval from OMHA.  Sessions will be run by the current 2020-21 GK coaches.

Our goalie sessions will continue as well as our extra skill development with professional instructors.  GK has set a budget of $295, allowing for the three ice times or two ice times and one dryland (we must rent the fields).

When we move to Stage 3D, we will be able to play Quinte and at Stage 4, we will be able to host tryouts.

Members of the GKHA from the 2019-2020 season, as well as those AAA players from the area that were on waivers to another AAA zone, may now register for the programs offered by the GKHA during Stage 3B of Return to Play.

Players may now be signed-up for the upcoming Stage 3B programs by using the following link:
