Minor Atom, 2016-2017 (Greater Kingston AAA Hockey)

We packed our bags early Saturday morning and traveled to Barrie... respectfully, we tip our hats to the 8-1-4-20pts Colts team falling just short with a 3-2 loss.  Sunday morning we enjoyed the 45 min drive to Orillia to face the North Central Predators. 45 mins of Don Cherry's Rock Em Sock Em Hockey had the boys fired up! We came out strong scoring 1 in the first and another in the second and spun the wheel out of Rama with our third road shutout of the season and a 2-0 win! Great weekend fellas!

Tomorrow night we are hosting a mid week match against the RED DEVILS from Quinte ... 7:00pm is puck drop on the FL ice pad at the Invista Center with first place on the line in the east. The boys appreciate your support, lets fill the stands! Don't forget to pick up a team program at the entrance to learn more about your favorite minor atom Jr Frontenac and the rest of the team. It's what happened in three games. These boys brought their A game this weekend finishing the weekend with three wins. We started strong battling against the Whitby Wildcats winning with a 5-0 shutout. The boys then rolled into the Ajax - Pickering Raiders rink after a health lunch break feeling HOT and ready to go. The Black and yellow's stormed onto the ice focused and craving another win and getting it done coming out with a 4-2 win. That's not it folks......

Last Saturday we played the Pete's losing 3-2 The boys had a great game on Saturday, the boys really brought it back in the 3rd period but couldn't get that win. We all look forward in facing the Pete's again... "NOT EVERY VICTORY SHOWS UP ON THE SCOREBOARD" 

The summer nights are cooling down and our team is getting HOT !! We came out strong in this one tonight fans...what a game. To all of you that couldn't make it..... the kids were strong and forceful, shutting down the KING's (Rideau St. Lawrence) ending the game with a 4-0 shutout. Three simple words  FOCUS, DRIVE and WANT.
