Santa Hitches a Ride to Kingston
Santa just happened to need
a ride back to Kingston from Whitby and spread some Christmas cheer and
presents along the way. The timing of Santa’s visit was just enough for the
Peewee’s to get over two road losses before the holiday break.
Thursday the 22nd had the 04’s down the road in Belleville where the first place QRD’s skated away with a 5-3 victory. Ben Albright had 2 goals and an assist while the other marker went to Jacob McLellan. Holiday helpers went to Blake Aylesworth with 2, Kevin Fitzgerald and McLellan. Brady Spry took the loss in net. Friday had the boys back on the road to Whitby where the locals lost a close one 4-3. Ben Campeau potted 2 for the Fronts while the other went to Andrew Botting. Gift wrapping the goals this night were Grayson Ebrahim (2), Wyatt Ottenhof, Lane Morency, Boden White and Botting while Nolan Lalonde was between the pipes. Next up for the Fronts are two important road trips to Clarington and York-Simcoe this Saturday and Sunday…….…Pictured is Santa Claus with the boys on the “Ugly Christmas Sweater” trip to Whitby.
