Shutout and Comeback Excitement Headlines Weekend
The Peewee Frontenac’s keep finding ways to pick up points in their push for the OMHA playoffs as this past weekend the 04’s shut out the Petes and came from behind to tie the Wildcats for 3 more crucial points in ETA home action.

Friday night versus the Peterborough Petes, Wyatt Ottenhof scored 2 minutes into the game on a feed from Nathan Woods and Jacob Froats and then Brady Spry took over stopping all 22 shots faced for the shutout victory 1-0. Saturday, the 4-4 tie with the Whitby Wildcats had the locals down 3-0 and 4-1 at points of the game until three unanswered goals in the third, the last coming with the goalie pulled and one minute left on the clock. Grayson Ebrahim lead the way scoring a shorthanded and power play marker with the others going to Kevin Fitzgerald and Ottenhof. Ben Campeau, Andrew Botting, Fitzgerald, Ebrahim and call-up defenseman Clayton Rose added the assists. Nolan Lalonde held the fort in net to help complete the comeback. The Peewee’s are back at it next weekend with a pair of home games against the Oshawa Generals and the Ajax-Pickering Raiders.
