Frontenacs found a way to get it done this past weekend grabbing three of
four points in ETA action and putting themselves into 2nd place in
the Eastern Conference.
With the bench still operating below capacity as far as players go and losing another player to a questionable hit during the game, the boys gave a gutsy performance coming from behind twice on the road versus the Whitby Wildcats. The Circle K’s ended up outshooting the Wildcats, almost won it late and finished up in a 3-3 tie. The team was back home Sunday to a road weary Barrie Colts making their overnight eastern swing. Unfortunately for the Colts the home town squad came out firing, scoring two PowerPlay goals, one shorthanded and adding on five others to take the lopsided contest 8-0. The 04’s are home for their next couple and take on eastern rival Clarington Toros (Friday 24th 8:30pm Invista) and a rematch with the Whitby Wildcats (Wednesday 29th 7pm Invista).
