Minor Bantam, 2017-2018 (Greater Kingston AAA Hockey)

A perfect 4-0 round robin record has extended the season for the Minor Bantam Frontenacs as they will look to defend their ETA Championship versus the Richmond Hill Coyotes in a best of five (6 point) series. In the first game of the round robin against the visiting Clarington Toros, the Fronts spotted themselves to 2-0 lead in the first before adding one in second and another in the third on route to a 4-0 shutout victory.

The Minor Bantam had their hands full in the first round of the OMHA playoffs as the took on the league leading Quinte Red Devils. In a very entertaining five game (6 point)series that had three overtimes, two ties and two one goal games the Red Devils managed to close it out this past Sunday in Madoc with a thrilling 3-2 Overtime victory to take the series. 

The 2004 Minor Bantam Frontenacs wrapped up their regular season last weekend with the goaltenders putting up back to back “donuts” by shutting out the Whitby Wildcats and the Clarington Toros.

The Minor Bantam Frontenacs clinched their spot in the OMHA playoffs this past weekend. Saturday night had the boys traveling up the 401 to Whitby where they got out to a 2-0 first period lead. Unfortunately, the Wildcats responded in the second with two power play markers to knot it at two apiece heading to the flood.

This past Saturday, the Central Ontario Wolves were in town to take on the 04 Frontenacs at the Invista. With a very important two points at stake, the home town Fronts came out firing and grabbed a two goal lead by the end of  the first period.
